Company History

Mountain Maids is a locally owned company established in 1997. Molly and Kathy purchased the company based in Big Sky, Montana in 2007. In 2009, a second branch was opened in Bozeman, Montana.

Our company is based on the belief that our customers’ needs are of the utmost importance. Our entire team is committed to meeting those needs. As a result, a high percentage of our business is from repeat customers and referrals.

We welcome the opportunity to earn your trust and to provide you with the best service in the industry. We supply all equipment, earth friendly cleaning products and we are fully insured. Our team will arrive in uniform and in our Mountain Maids’ vehicle for easy identification.

 

Molly Bloomquist

Born in Indianapolis, Indiana, she received her B.A. degree in Speech Communications and Economics from Indiana University in 1991. Molly was hired by Shaw Industries, a subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway, Inc. and a Fortune 500 Company. She completed Xerox Sales and Dale Carnegie Training Courses. In her first year, Molly sold over $5 Million in an undeveloped territory.

After traveling extensively throughout Europe, Central and South America; Molly decided to settle down in Bozeman, Montana. In 2007, Molly and her business partner, Kathy Patterson purchased Mountain Maids and have seen extensive growth.

Molly’s interests include hiking, skiing, and traveling with her husband and 2 children. She is passionate about empowering women through leadership. Molly is a guest speaker at Girls for a Change in Bozeman, Montana a non-profit organization that empowers teenage girls and a guest speaker at the ARCSI convention in Vegas.

 

 

Kathy Patterson

Originally from the Colorado Mountain towns of Eagle, Leadville and Telluride, Kathy graduated with honors from Northeastern Junior College with an Associates of Science Business degree.  Working in property management for 15 years provided the foundation for a smooth transition into Mountain Maids.  Montana is home where she has resided since 2005 with her two boys and has the pleasure of enjoying all the wonderful things the state has to offer from camping, hiking, rodeo and skiing.  It is an absolute joy owning a small business and providing stable jobs to employees and professional services to customers.
